From Laguna Salada, in Mexicali, the successful launch of more than 20 rockets into space designed by engineering students from various universities from different entities in the country was carried out. The Aerospace Cluster of Baja California, chaired by Tomás Sibaja, congratulated Antonio Gómez Roa, director of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences and Technology (FCITEC) UABC-Valle de las Palmas, Tijuana, BC for the organization of ENMICE 2021, along with the other participating organizations. With initiatives like this, young people are motivated to develop their creative capacity in cutting-edge technological issues, accrediting their knowledge with an international certification from the “Tripoli Rocketry Association”, which already has a Chapter in Baja California.
